SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY HINDI IN INDIA

The Embassy of India is pleased to announce the Scholarship Scheme “Propagation of Hindi Abroad at Kendriya Hindi Sansthan” (Central Hindi Institute), Agra, India for the academic year 2011-12. While the detailed brochure of the scheme can be seen at Annexure I, the salient features of the Scheme are given below –

i) The Scheme is administered by the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Agra.
ii) The age of the applicant should be between 21-35 years as on 20th May, 2011.

Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre: Studying in India

To commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (www.iccrindia.net) has introduced “Tagore Fellowship” for scholars, who are interested to carry out research projects related to Tagore in India during 2011-12.

Under this Fellowship Scheme, the scholars would be given adequate financial assistance to carry out their research projects. The duration of the project should not be more than one year.

The Embassy of India, Moscow invites sealed bids from well qualified contractors for carrying out the work of replacement of the old metallic roof and its replacement by new corrugated galvanized steel sheets of 0.8 mm thickness at three of its building. The total area of the roof to be replaced is 1850 sq m. Interested parties are requested to submit their bids (both technical and financial) along with an earnest money of Rbls. 30,000/- to the Embassy of India by 4-3-2011. The quotation should be valid till 6-9-2011.
