The Indian organization "Adventures & Explorers", New Delhi, with the support of the Embassy of India in Moscow and Administration of Tver Region, is conducting an automobile expedition from 12th November 2006 to 16th January 2007.

Afanasy Nikitin, well-known trader and traveler from Tver, was one of the first Russians to travel to India in the 15th century and, in fact, opened the country for Russia.
