Information for Indian students from Russia appearing in the Medical Council of India (MCI) Screening Test on September 27, 2009.
At the behest of several students studying in different medical universities/institutions in Russia, the Embassy of India, Moscow, took up the case of extending the deadline for submission of applications for appearing in the MCI’s Screening Test with the National Board of Examinations (NBE), in view of the expected delay in apostiling/authenticating original diplomas/degrees.
The NBE has informed that in view of difficulties being faced by students, “it has been decided that candidates shall be permitted to appear in the Screening Test on September 27, 2009 and these candidates may fill up their application forms within the stipulated deadline, i.e. July 15, 2009. However, the candidates may submit their attested copies of apostiled degree/authenticated original certificates at an early date and preferably by August 16, 2009.

The IVSC is open from 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs on all weekdays including holidays. All Tour Operators and individual visa applicants are requested to submit their applications at the IVSC. www.ttsvisas.ru
