The immensely popular Indian Women’s Association Summer Bazaar will be held on 29 May this year from 11 am to 5 pm. As always, the venue will be the main building complex of the Indian Embassy at Ulitsa Vorontsovo Polye, Dom 6-8 (Metro Kurskaya).
It is a charity event that showcases Indian culture, its exotic food, exquisite varieties of tea, ethnic jewellery, dazzling colourful clothes and unique handicrafts besides a host of other products.
The Bazaar has something for all age groups to include games, dance, music, yoga, books on spirituality and even Tambola. Lucky winners for a large number of attractive prizes will be selected through a draw at 4 pm. Raffle and entry tickets may be purchased, well in advance to avoid the long queue on 29 May 2010, at the main gate of the Embassy on any working day from 10 am to 5 pm.

Moscow Declaration of BRIC Agriculture and Agrarian Development Ministers
The joint ministerial statement of BRIC countries on the global food security, adopted at the Summit in Yekaterinburg (Russia) on June 16th 2009, considered the issue of global food security and resolved to address the problem of food production and hunger without delay in a comprehensive manner through resolute action by governments and relevant international agencies.
We, the Ministers of Agriculture of the BRIC countries first met in Moscow (Russian Federation) on March 26th 2010 and agreed on broad contours of quadrilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector with particular attention to family farming, the development of which will not only help long-term interests of the four states but contribute towards global food security.

2. I have had the honour of visiting the great country of Russia on several occasions in the past, on each occasion I have been overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality that has been extended to me.
