NCC Cultural Exchange Held
Under the Youth Exchange Programme of the National Cadet Corps, bilateral exchange of delegations is being held every year. An Indian delegation of two officers and 10 cadets (five boys and five girls) from various regional directorates of the NCC visited Russia from 19 Oct to 31 Oct 2010.

The cadets were hosted in the Perm region at the Militsia Lycem in Perm. The cadets lived and trained alongwith the cadets at the Lycem. During the stay, they participated in sporting, cultural, training, adventure and sight seeing activities.

Despite the language barrier, to which both sides adjusted very quickly, the exchange allowed a deep insight to both sides on the various aspects of social life, culture, traditions and ethos of each other. The visit definitely forged bonds of friendship on both sides.

The Russian side has been invited for a reciprocal visit to India during the NCC Republic Day Camp in Delhi in Jan 2011.
