The Embassy of India, Moscow intends to pre qualify agencies to assist its Consular Wing in processing of applications from Russian nationals and other Russian residents for issue of visas. The agency so identified would have, on the behalf of the Embassy of India, responsibility for the following broad activities.

• Distribution, collection and scrutiny of visa applications as prescribed, along with all supporting documents and fees from the applicants
• Depositing the same, applications, passports in original as well as captured in electronic format at the consular wing of the Embassy by quickest and safest means; and the fees at the bank designated by the Embassy
• Collection of the passports from the consular wing after the service there has been rendered
• Dispatch/handing over the document/s to the applicants by secure and quickest means
• Maintenance of an information desk to answer enquiries over telephone and information service to handle queries by e-mail, post, fax
• Scheduling of personal interviews of the applicants at the consular wing if deemed necessary

For carrying out these activities on behalf of the Embassy, the agency would be expected to establish and staff collection centre/s in a prominent locality of Moscow. The Embassy may require to increase the number of centres in Moscow and other cities of Russia if deemed necessary. The agency would be expected to provide courteous, efficient service at all times. The Embassy would reserve the right to monitor the quality of the service being provided.
