Educational collaboration agreement signed in the State Duma

On 19 February 2015, at the LDPR (Liberal Democratic Party of Russia) office in the Russian State Duma, a Partnership Agreement was signed between the non-governmental autonomous non-profit organization “Institute of World Civilizations” (IWC) and the “Russian-Indian Friendship Society” (DISHA). In addition, a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding on Academic, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation was signed between “Institute of World Civilizations”, “Magtech Solutions (P) Ltd” and “DISHA”.

The documents envisage cooperation between the parties in implementing joint scientific & educational projects; participation in joint conferences, round tables, symposiums and seminars in the spheres of education and science; exchange of students, graduates and postgraduates; and establishment of DISHA cultural centers in Russia and India.

The signing ceremony was presided over by State Duma Deputy from the LDPR Mr. Sergey Karginov and was attended by LDPR Deputies Mr. Roman Khudyakov, Mr. Anton Ishenko and others. H.E. Mr. P.S. Raghavan, Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation was a Guest of Honour at the ceremony. In his remarks on the occasion, he expressed appreciation for the consistent support of LDPR for close friendship and cooperation between Russia and India.
