Ambassador inaugurates India Stand at MITT, 18 March 2015

Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. P.S. Raghavan inaugurated the India Stand at the annual Moscow International Travel and Tourism (MITT) Exhibition at Expocentre, Moscow on 18 March 2015. A number of tourism organizations from India participated at the Exhibition. This included India Tourism Frankfurt, Kerala Tourism, JK Tourism, Air India, IRCTC, SITA/Kuoni, Le Passage/Indian Routes, Radisson Blu/GRT Hotels, AT Seasons and Vacations, Concord Travels, Ancient India Travels and Sharp Travels.
Ambassador Raghavan met with the officials of India Tourism, IRCTC, JK Tourism, Air India etc and also interacted with all other India exhibitors supervising their counters. He informed them of the initiatives of the Embassy to promote tourism, especially related to yoga and ayurveda.
Minister for Tourism, Government of Kerala, H.E. Mr. A.P. Anilkumar visited Moscow to participate in MITT. He called on Ambassador Raghavan at the Embassy to discuss further developing tourism from Russia to Kerala.
The Tea Board of India offered free Indian tea tasting during the Exhibition. Students from Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre of the Embassy put up a cultural performance.
