Kerala Tourism Roadshow, 02 October 2014
A Roadshow of Kerala Tourism was held in Moscow, at the Baltschug Kempinski Hotel, on 2nd October, 2014. The event was attended by over 100 tour operators based in Russia, representatives of airline industry, hotels, media and others stakeholders in the tourism industry.
Additional Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala Ms. Anupama T V briefed participants on tourism opportunities in Kerala, highlighting the special packages on offer. Addressing the guests, Ambassador Mr. P.S.Raghavan said that Kerala can offer a lot in terms of diversity of cultures, history and experiences. It is one of the exciting travel destinations of India with attractive tour packages, covering beautiful beaches, backwaters and hills; houseboats and village life experiences; festivals and distinctive artforms; museums, water sports, ayurveda, yoga and other features.
Kerala attracted 32,000 Russian tourists in 2013.
