Visit of Indian National Cadet Corps (NCC) delegation to Perm, Russian Federation, 18 August - 01 September 2014
An NCC delegation consisting of 2 officers and 25 cadets visited Perm Cadet School, Perm (Russia) from 18 August - 01 September 2014 as part of Youth Exchanges between India and the Russian Federation. The Indian cadets participated in the summer camp (approx. 50 km from Perm) with around 300 Russian cadets from Perm Cadet Corps.
During their course of stay in Perm, the cadets presented a joint concert at Perm City Hall and participated in the Russian Flag Day ceremony on 22 August 2014. Indian cadets won many hearts with their conduct and received appreciation when they sang Russian songs during the concert. The summer camp ended with a parade at Perm City Square on 01 September and on 02 September, the cadets visited the Embassy of India in Moscow and shared their experiences with the Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. P.S. Raghavan.
