IETF (International Engineering & Technology Fair), organised biennially since 1975, is the flagship event of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The forthcoming fair - the 18th IETF 2009, is structured as a comprehensive B2B event, segmented into well-defined technological sections of the engineering & manufacturing industry. These sections are branded and represented by concurrent focused business fairs.

The Indian Manufacturing Industry has been growing at an average growth rate of 10-12 per cent & is becoming a major hub for the production of robots. The global market for robots is projected to rise by an average of 4.2% where as in India the industry is expected to grow by 2.5 times of the global average. Cutting Edge technologies in Robotics & Automation will contribute to lead Indian Manufacturing Industry into the domain of innovation setting them far ahead in the race for quality, safety and efficiency.

The exhibition aims to showcase the competency of the Energy, Power & Environment industry through the availability of the latest technology, products & services essential for sustainable development. The fair will provide an excellent and effective international platform for overseas suppliers to meet domestic buyers and end-users in India.

IETF Global provides a platform to countries interested in making a foray in to the Indian market. The pavilion showcases a mix of various technologies of the participating countries thus highlighting their strengths and expertise.

A Manufacturing India 09 pavilion is planned as part of the 18th IETF 2009 (International Engineering & Technology Fair). The Manufacturing India 09 pavilion aims to bring together a diverse cross section of stakeholders in the Manufacturing industry from India and Overseas. The event will bring to India buyers and sellers from the world over, looking for sourcing opportunities.
