Celebration of Indian Festival “Rhythm of Unity” at PFU, Moscow

The Indian Students’ Association celebrated the Indian Cultural Festival “Rhythm of Unity” at the Peoples’ Friendship University, Moscow on 14 May.  The JNCC supported the event by displaying a photographic exhibition prepared by Shri Benoy Behl on Buddhist monasteries of Laddakh, Kinnaur, Lahol-Spiti and Tibet emphasizing the Buddhist heritage of India. The exhibition itself was prepared with the help of Ministry of Culture and was provided to the Embassy by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata.  During the exhibition, the performing group “Chakkar” of Ms. Ekatrina Seliverstova, JNCC local Kathak teacher also presented a programme.  About 600 visitors visited the exhibition on the day of the inaugural.
