About Classes

In Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center, four kinds of classes are taught by the teachers from India:
- Kathak Dance
- Tabla
- Hindi
- Yoga

Persons from 18 to 60 years are eligible to join classes after obtaining a membership card that costs Rub. 300 per month, for any kind of classes. For this, you should come personally since no one can be admitted via phone.

For Tabla, Kathak and Hindi, you can register at any time, subject to availability and consent of a teacher (to meet with the teacher see schedule).

Enrolment into yoga is done on 28th of each month. Seats are very limited. Availability in the groups is not guaranteed. You are required to have a photocopy of your passport (main page) and a medical certificate from a physician indicating that you are physically capable to practice yoga.

If you have any questions about the enrolment, schedules, availability, types and levels of classes, etc., you can get answers at the reception when you come to the Center.

In addition, there are also other classical styles of Indian dance (Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi and Kuchipudi) and classes on meditation and kalaripayatu (traditional martial arts). To register for them, you need to meet a teacher personally to learn about the schedule and other details.

The Centre is open from 10:00 to 20:00 seven days a week.
